WhatsApp Chats Between Sophia Momodu and Davido Revealed in Ongoing Custody Dispute
Davido and his baby mama, Sophia Momodu, are locked in a custody fight that seems to be intensifying daily.
Sophia opted to provide screenshots of her WhatsApp conversations with Davido from 2020 and 2022 in her quest to obtain full custody of their baby.
In that Whatsapp exchange, Davido requested Sophia’s phone number. Sophia complied, but she chose to use it as proof in the ongoing custody dispute with Davido.

Prior to that, Davido posted an image of Sophia’s photo on social media, complimented her with an emoji, and stated he would like it. Sophia also included photos from their conversation about their daughter.
Davido also vented his annoyance on X, writing, “All I asked for was joint custody,” but you guys want to pretend like you can’t read because it’s Davido! SMH, I’m going to stop now. May God bless you all and may this not happen to you.
Before this, Sophia included the passing of Davido and Chioma’s son, Ifeanyi, in court filings supporting her position that Davido shouldn’t be granted custody of their daughter.
“You constantly bringing up the death of my child at any point u can to just remind us of this tragedy that haunts us everyday of our lives,” Davido stated in response to that on social media once more.
