Samini swiftly fled the Ghana Music Awards grounds after he was snubbed for the Artist of the decade category.

The flagship category was won by rapper Sarkodie who was the obvious favorite according to many.

Samini before the awards night had bragged that he deserves to be crown Artist of The Decade than anyone in the category.

He stressed that, before his rivals started music, their families were his fans and therefore no one comes close to him in that category.
