Entertainment critics sees this category as a contest between, Samini, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.

Samini in an interview with Abeiku Santana argued that he deserves to win that very category tonight.
According to the veteran, the families of his rivals in the category were his fans and loved his music way before these artist got into the music business.
