Ungrateful? Prince Tagoe Accuses Stonebwoy of Unfollowing Him on Instagram Despite Past Support and Gifts”

Former Ghanaian football player Prince Tagoe has talked openly about how he helped numerous Ghanaian singers succeed, most notably Afro-dancehall sensation Stonebwoy.

The Prince Tagoe recently shared in an interview the assistance he gave Stonebwoy following his 2012 split from the High Grade Family record label, where he had released his debut hit, “Claimax.”

In response to a question concerning his role, Tagoe disclosed that he had offered Stonebwoy his own vehicle to assist him in navigating his early solo career.

He emphasized how he helped Stonebwoy during his crucial period of transition by introducing him to important figures like former Togolese star Emmanuel Adebayor and others.

As to Tagoe’s statement, he had in fact helped the musicians Praye and Shatta Wale accomplish their objectives with each project they published.

He described how, following the publication of the group’s debut album, “Roll Koll,” in 2008, he had a significant influence on Praye’s career in terms of distribution and promotion through his Goals Multimedia Record Label.

Though he didn’t really carry out their plans, Tagoe says he had a falling out with Praye after the group named Kiki Banson as their new manager.

Regarding his backing of Shatta Wale, the 37-year-old former footballer for Hannover claims he was prepared to witness the dancehall artist win the 2015 VGMA Artist of the Year award, but he withdrew because he didn’t want to take part in the ceremony.

Despite complimenting Stonebwoy on his exceptional talent, Prince Tagoe revealed the present status of his connection with the musician in order to vent his disappointment.

The former Black Stars striker continues, saying that Stonebwoy unfollowed him on Instagram, which made the “Over Lord” singer appear “ungrateful.”

“Since Stonebwoy was skilled and I genuinely wanted him to succeed, I assisted him after he left Highgrade by providing him use of my cars. He unfollowed me on Instagram after I helped him connect with Adebayor and even brought him cake for his birthday celebration in East Legon.

He said to AccraFM host Nana Romeo, “I don’t know why he did that, but maybe he has his own reason for doing that, and I must respect his decision for doing that.”
