Ghanaian musician King Paluta recently marked a significant professional milestone. His latest single, Makoma, became the No.1 song in Africa based on statistics from Boomplay and Audiomack collected between July 5 and July 11.

The new song, which was published on July 5, has quickly become a fan favorite in Ghana, earning co-signs from major performers such as Samini. Hiplife legend TiC is the latest Ghanaian singer to post complimentary thoughts about King Paluta’s new single.

According to TiC, King Paluta’s Makoma resonated with most Ghanaians because the musician was able to interpret and combine the country’s distinct musical tastes into the song.
