Students of Accra Girls demonstrate as parents storm school over COVID-19 fears (Video)

The students of Accra Girls SHS staged a demonstration today over Coronavirus fears.

The demonstration was aimed at getting the school’s authorities to allow them to return home after 6 of the students tested positive for coronavirus.

They abandoned classes this morning and gathered in large numbers screaming they want to go home.

 

 

Some parents who have their children in the school stormed the campus to take their children home.

 

 

A heavy security team has been deployed to the school to restore calm.
