Students in Ivory Coast return to school after easing of COVID-19 restrictions

Students in La Cote D’Ivoire have returned to school after the government eased the COVID-19 restrictions.

With 2,376 cases in the West African country, they have eased restrictions for students to return to school.

Educational authorities in the country are confident the schools have put down adequate hygienic measures for the safety of the students.

Speaking to Reuters, the Minister of Education Assoumou Kabran said measures in are place to ensure the children are safe to continue with the education.

“We also have an imperative duty to ensure that the children entrusted to us can complete their education”
