President of Benin Republic has expressed his readiness for Benin to join Nigeria as one country

The President of the Republic of Benin, Patrice Talon has expressed his readiness for his country to join Nigeria.

This was revealed by the Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama.

Should the French speaking West African country, Nigeria will be the 2nd African country after Cameroon to have both English and French as official language. Benin Republic will be the 37th State of Nigeria should this come to pass.
