Popular TikToker Obaa Cee details how KiDi gave her ‘yawa’ at US event

Obaa Cee, a Ghanaian Tiktoker, talked about her terrible encounter with KiDi at an American event.

She said that despite her fervent efforts to support KiDi, who was visiting the United States for an award presentation, he turned down her request to snap a selfie on D-day.

According to Obaa Cee, she volunteered her time and effort to promote the event on social media and at the radio station she worked for, giving it her whole attention.

She went on to claim that because of her successful promotion efforts, a significant number of individuals attended the event.

She claimed that she felt embarrassed and ashamed when the Lynx Entertainment star rejected her request for a selfie when they finally met paths.

Obaa Cee spoke with The Delay Show about this unfortunate event that involved Deloris Frimpong Manso.

For ads, I was the one promoting KiDi to the public before to his arrival in the US. Guests from nearby towns came because of my endorsements. Since our hometowns are the same, I could have charged a fee, but I didn’t.

“I was hoping for a close-up with him, possibly a picture. However, he showed me that he wasn’t interested in conversing by crossing his arms, and he paid me no attention at all when I went near him. “I felt embarrassed about that incident,” she said in response to a question concerning her relationship with KiDi.

Despite the unpleasant experience, the social media influencer said she has forgiven KiDi for inflicting emotional pain and damaging her pride. In fact, a couple of months ago, a video of Obaa Cee’s meeting with KiDi was made public online.

The video captured the moment she went to an event where KiDi was also there with the hopes of interacting with the well-known singer. KiDi looked uninterested and disregarded Obaa Cee’s numerous attempts to capture her attention for a video.

Ghanaians’ reactions to the incident were sparked by the TikTok video that went viral.
