Parts of Accra to experience dumsor for 5 days – ECG announced

The Electricity Company of Ghana has announced an imminent load shedding exercise.

The national power distributors have announced that parts of the city Accra will be experiencing power outage.

According to ECG this will enable it engineers to carry out special maintenances to ensure that Ghanaians enjoy uninterrupted power during the Christmas season.

The Dumsor will therefore start from Monday 16th December and end on the 20th of December.

Affected areas may have their power off from 5am to 6 pm daily.

The areas that will be affected by the power cuts are Taifa, Dzorwulu, Kwabenya, Valley View, Oyibi, Teshie,Sowutuom, Achobo Best, Peace FM, Santana Market, Baah Yard, Masalachi, Awoshie, A Lang, Nsawam, Gbawe, Mallam, Dzorwulu, Abelenkpe, Plant Pool.

Others are Katapor, Fise, Borkorborkor, Manhean, Oduman, CP, Joma, Agape Down, SSNIT, Red Top, Ajaco, Ayigbe Town, SCC, Old Barrier, Choice, Katamanso, Madina Borteyman and Caprice.
