Old National Bank Executive Jim Tutt Jr. among Five Killed in Louisville Shooting

James “Jim” Tutt Jr., a commercial real estate market executive for the southern region at Old National Bank, was among the five employees killed in a workplace shooting at the bank’s downtown Louisville branch on April 10.

Tutt, 64, had worked with the company since January 2015, bringing over three decades of experience in commercial banking to the position.

According to Oldham County Judge Executive David Voegele, who knew Tutt from his time on the board of the Oldham-La Grange Development Authority, Tutt “added a tremendous amount of insights” to the development of the office park in LaGrange. He was known as a well-respected and high-quality individual within the industry, and his loss has left many devastated.

Tutt was a native of Frankfort, Kentucky, and received a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA from the University of Kentucky.

From 2007 to 2014, he served as the principal of VineBranch Enterprises Ltd., a financial consulting company that provided project-related financial advisory services to commercial real estate developers.

Prior to that, he worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. / Bank One Corp. in Louisville from 2001 to 2006.

Throughout his career, Tutt dedicated himself to the field of commercial banking, bringing his expertise to a variety of roles within the industry.

He was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand and his commitment to his colleagues, as well as his love for downtown Louisville.
