NDC Lawyer Beatrice Annan Schools Tracy Sarkcess On MPS Tema Ports Deal

NDC communicator Lawyer Beatrice Annan has schooled Tracy Sarkcess on the MPS Tema Harbor.
The wife of Sarkodie incurred the wrath of NPP people with her post on social media app X where she said French Billionaire Bollore has been the owner of the Tema Port since 2014.
She said Ghana has no say in what happens at the port because the country owns only 15% stake.
NDC people haven’t taken her allegations lightly as they view it as an attempt to set their presidential candidate John Mahama up for attack.
They don’t understand why Tracy is trying to make excuses for the NPP government refusal to clear free donated medical products given to the nation by Global Fund.

The lawyer wrote this;
Sarkodie’s wife, who is alleged to have a bit of education abroad, refused to study documents but has allowed herself to be used for cheap propaganda purposes for reasons best known to her.
The current arrangement at the Port is a simple BOT under which MPS,which already had a 20 year Concession arrangement with GPHA dating back to 2004, got it extended by 15 years to invest close to a billion dollars to expand the Port to four times its original size.
They will operate it for another 15 years and hand it over to GPHA. Similar to AMERI.
BOTs are alternative way of financing infrastructure projects and are perfectly normal. To say the port has been sold to the Concessionaire is pure illiteracy.
In this space, we must not allow sweeping statements or propaganda masquerading as intellectualism.
