My SRC Didn’t Handle Cash For The GH¢63,175 Bus Terminal; UDS Mgt Controlled The Cash – Lukman Mohammed Reacts

Master Lukman Mohammed of the University for Development Studies has reacted to public backlash he’s receiving over the newly constructed Bus Terminal at the Tamale Campus of the school.

The Student Representative Council (SRC) President has been blasted on social media for being corrupt over the cost of the bus terminal.

A whopping GH¢63,175 from the student’s SRC dues was used to finance the construction of the project.

Reacting to the public backlash, Master Lukman Mohammed has released an official statement with the SRC letterhead.

In the statement, he explained that the SRC didn’t handle any money used for the project as they only identified the project and recommended it to the Management of the school.

The SRC President added that the Management of the school through it Works and Physical Development (WPD) unit spearheaded the executive of the project.

He further explained that he did not handle any money so if the public have problem with the cost of the project, they used question the Works and Physical Development (WPD) unit of the school.
