Messi beats Ronaldo and Van Dijk to win FIFA Best for record 6th time
World Football governing body FIFA organized their annual football awards gala this evening.
The FIFA Gala was hosted in Milan, Italy in the evening of Monday 23th September 2019.
The Shortlisted players for the thr World Best award Messi of Barcalona and Argentina, Van Dijk of Liverpool and Netherlands were present except Ronaldo of Juventus and Portugal.

Messi with 46% of the votes won the flagship award beating Van Dijk (38%) and Ronaldo (36%) to crowned the FIFA Best player for the year 2019.
The win (2019) sends the little magicians FIFA Best award tally to 6 having won the award in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2015.
