Meet Fast-Rising Gospel Artiste John D’Baptist, Son Of Legendary Nicholas Omane Acheampong
Meet the talented and fast-rising Son of multiple award-winning gospel artiste Nicholas Omane, who’s also walking in his daddy’s footsteps as a musician, John Nana Kwame Bedeahene ‘The Giver’ popularly known as John D’Baptist.

John D’Baptist is a gospel musician who has been blessed with enormous talent and known for his evangelical work.
John D’Baptist started singing at the age of 8, his name John D’Baptist just didn’t evolve anyhow.
According to sources, John got the chance to meet Nicholas Omane Acheampong who is one of Ghana’s most anointed gospel musicians in history; John served Nicholas for 11 to 12 years and then Nicholas got the revelation to change his name to John D’Baptist.
The ‘Zaphenath-Paneah’ ‘CROONER’ Nicholas Omane Acheampong then anointed John D’Baptist in church officially unveiling his new name and since then, things have changed for John in a positive way.

Prior to the change of name, John had released some songs but never made waves. Further checks revealed that after the change of name which is believed to be a divine one, things started turning out good for John D’Baptist and his music also started gaining grounds.

Thus, John doesn’t joke with his spiritual father Nicholas Omane Acheampong, a man whom he has served for about 12 years. We also understand that the later organized a Mega Gospel Concert with the former and the legendary Great Ampong sometime in 2018 which really made news. As the name implies, he baptizes people through his music.
