Lydia Forson “Blasts” HitzFM over false publication

Ghanaian actress, writer, and producer Lydia Forson has lambasted accra-based radio station, Hitz FM owned by Multimedia over a false story published on their platform.

Earlier on, Lydia Forson on February 13, 2019 took to twitter – in reaction to Prez Nana Akufo-Addo’s plan to build a national cathedral.

She wrote: I can’t get over the fact that we’re building a CATHEDRAL, even if sponsored ( allegedly) there are people who’d rather invest money in a place of worship that people can live WITHOUT than hospital beds and healthcare that people NEED to live.

If this doesn’t make you sad…

Her tweet which was somehow misconstrued and run by several blogs read.

On the station’s morning showbiz, Day break Hitz, one of the headlines for discussion was captioned on their social media pages as “Lydia Forson to organize ‘We don’t need National Cathedral’ demonstration.”, a statement the actress finds both untrue and misleading.

According to Lydia, she never put forth, for example, an expression and along these lines thinks that its astounding that an entire radio station will run such a story without calling her to check its credibility.
