Afia, a 30-year-old Ghanaian woman, has shared her terrible experience with her landlord on social media, shedding tears as she does so.

The Ghanaian woman was seen sobbingly accusing her landlord of betraying his promises to her in a video that went viral.

The woman claims that the incident started when she rented an apartment from her landlord, who is still anonymous.

The landlord apparently showed romantic interest in her over time, using his divorce as justification.

Elated by his assurances of a three-year rent-free extension and utility bill exemption, the woman consented to start a relationship with him.

But as time passed and the landlord’s wife unintentionally moved back into their shared apartment, the woman learned the unpleasant truth—that his claims of being divorced were untrue.

The woman, feeling duped and shocked, made the decision to break up with her partner and leave the apartment, requesting a reimbursement from the landlord for the entire two-year rent period.

The woman was shown in the widely circulated video expressing her sincere grief about the deception she had to put up with from the landlord.
