Kwaisey Pee speaks about new song and ‘arrogance’ tag

Popular highlife musician Akwasi Poku known in showbiz circles as Kwaisey Pee says he is not arrogant as some may have “mistakenly” put out.

He says some Ghanaians sometimes judge wrongly because they don’t do background checks about issues they hear about people, stressing he may be one of those victims of misconceptions.

“I don’t think I’m arrogant. If you hear something about me and you don’t probe deeply, you may say one is arrogant or a bad person, he told host of Power Entertainment, Agyemang Prempeh (Agyeman Nie) on Accra-based Power 97.9 FM on Saturday.

He said sometimes his own family members blame him based on misconceptions until they realize the truth of the matter, adding “I’ts normal. I’m sometimes like that too.”

“My sister once did same to me when he heard something about me. But when she got to know the truth, she understood me,” he said.

But the musician who is out with a new single “mabre” (I’m tired) said although people may peddle falsehoods about him, that will not make him allow himself to be hoodwinked.

“I am calm but when you want to disrespect or cheat me, I won’t allow that,” he clarified.

Kwaisey Pee is promoting his single track, ‘mabre’,  featuring Ghanaian songstress YaaYaa. The track was produced by Guilty Beatz and mixed by Kaywa’s Spiritual Mix.

The song talks about how ladies in relationship these days make ridiculous demands from their men and how that frustrates men and eventually lead to break ups.

After Kwaisey puts that across in the first stanza, YaaYaa discounts that and says women are precious and needs to be well catered for via their needs hence if her man gets tired of meeting her demands she will leave.

Kwaisey pee who promised to bring out better songs for all his fans urged them to be confident in him and patronise his shows to keep him in the business.
