King Paluta’s Singing Skills Under Fire: KOKA’s ‘Makoma’ Breakdown

Ghanaian entertainment commentator Kwaku Osei Koranteng Asiedu, also referred to as KOKA, has expressed his thoughts on King Paluta’s most recent single, Makoma.

KOKA voiced his displeasure with King Paluta on his vocals in the song during a recent interview on Asempa FM.

He said that because the musician’s voice is unsuited for singing, he should work with a vocal coach if he wants to go from rapping to singing permanently.

According to KOKA, King Paluta’s Makoma song was off-key and contained too many repetitions, which could jeopardize his chances of winning an award.

He emphasized that singing is important because it can improve a song with poor production quality.

He stated, “I believe King Paluta requires a voice teacher if he wishes to become a full-time singer. His voice fluctuates and is ineffective. He’s damaging the art of singing. Singing follows a format. You need to sing in a specific key. “He was off-key during the song.”

The entertainment critic encouraged King Paluta to learn from the likes of Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata, and Amerado to integrate his raps with the singing side of his music in order to continue growing.

King Paluta released Makoma more than a week ago. The song pulled in a million streams on Audiomack and soared to No. 1 on Apple Music just one week of its release.
