Kennedy Agyapong blasts his constituents, says the people of Assin are lazy
Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon Kennedy Agyapong, has referred to residents of his constituency as lazy, accusing them of not doing enough to better their lives.
“I don’t fear anyone. If you want me to buy your produce, I’ll do it but I won’t establish another factory here because you’re all lazy, ” the angry legislator disclosed to a gathering at Assin during the yuletide.
The maverick politician, who says the factories he established in his constituency to create jobs for the unemployed have been left to rot, lambasted the constituents for their ill will to put them to good use to better their lives.

Reports say the MP cum entrepreneur opened few factories in the area but they were not sustained because the people did not show interest in them.
“To open another factory here? I won’t. The residents here are lazy, ” he said in anger, especially as he realised the factories he had built have been neglected and left at the mercy of the sun.
“I will tell you straight. The people here are lazy. When you find them they think they’re offering you Favour,” he lamented.
To him, it’s not about politics, but about the people getting serious and working hard to gain a good living.
