Internationally celebrated Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah has for the first time aired his views on the discussion of same sex marriage in Ghana.

After US Vice President Kamala Harris’ visit, the debate over the legality of LGBTQI+ has picked up steam in Ghana.

The LGBT acronym stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual.

The + holds space for the expanding and new understanding of different parts of the very diverse gender and sexual identities.

Prominent celebrities and government representatives have weighed in with their differing perspectives on the LGBTQI+ topic and associated issues.

When asked about the present sensitive issue on United Television on Saturday, April 1, 2023’s United ShowBiz Show hosted by MzGee, Jackie Appiah declined to comment.

The Movie Star made a shrewd move to avoid criticism and backlash that would damage her brand by pleading with the presenter to ignore her and let her alone because she has no desire in giving her open viewpoints on the matter.
