It’s wrong to sell tickets for Awards Show – Sarkodie blasts Charterhouse

Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has blasted Charterhouse for reducing an award show to concerts.

The Sark Nation Boss is of the view, tickets shouldn’t be sold for awards ceremony as he prefers it to be strictly by invitation.

According to Sarkodie, Award shows like Grammy and BET do not sell tickets to the public.

The decorated African Hiphop act used CAF awards as an example, pointing that the show isn’t open to the public so if fans feel disappointed their favorite didn’t win, they show their uncontrolled emotions home.

He took to Twitter to call out organizers of the Ghana Music Award to quit using the lack of funding as an excuse for selling tickets to the public.
