Infant River Gibson, 9 months old, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on July 9, 2022, in Evansville, IN, to Victoria Hale and Caleb Gibson.

River is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Johnny Gibson, Jane Meeks, and Omar Hale.

Survivors include her parents, Victoria Hale and Caleb Gibson; grandparents, Brian and Belinda Gibson of Hanson, KY, Larry and Amber Hale of St. Charles, KY, and Jennifer Abell of Crofton, KY; great-grandparents, Patricia Gibson of Hanson, Henry Meeks of Mortons Gap, KY; and Janice Hale of Hopkinsville, KY; aunts, Stormy Hale, Alexis Hale, Mersadie Hale, and Shyanne Abell; and uncle, Joshua Gibson.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023, in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Taylor officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
