According to Ghanaian pastor and gospel singer Sonnie Badu, a sizable portion of American gospel musicians identify as LGBT+.
In an interview with Accra FM, Sonnie Badu—who also serves as the senior pastor of a church in Atlanta—disclosed this. “The majority of these popular musicians we play their songs on our airwaves and in our churches are into LGBT activities,” he said, referring to the about 78% of gay gospel listeners in America.
Sonnie Badu went on to say that a fellow gospel artist had previously advised him to remain silent and not get involved in such matters.
