Edward Awasi Boateng has open up about his current state after he was seen hawking pen drive in the market.

Veteran gospel musician Edward Akwasi Boateng has explained the reason why he took to the streets to sell pen drive.

On Tuesday February 20 2024, he took to the market to sell pen drive which has his old gospel music.

Wednesday he went viral when someone who saw him shared videos online.

Thursday he received several calls from people willing to help him especially when he’s on record to have said he is broke because of bad marriage.

On Friday he was invited to the studios of Akoma Fm and he said he took to the streets to sell pen drive because he needed money for his children’s school fees.

According to the veteran gospel musicians he is yet to pay the fees of his three children and their school is pressuring them for the fees.

Since people wouldn’t believe he has no money to pay the fees, he opted not to ask but to hit the streets to sell pen drive of his old music to fetch money for the fees.

He says after the viral video, he’s received many calls with people sending him some money to help.

Edward Akwasi Boateng said he could go several days without a call but since his video went viral, calls have been coming like crazy.
