I slapped a trotro driver for over-speeding – Allotey Jacobs reveals
Bernard Allotey Jacobs has revealed that he once slapped a trotro driver for overspreading.
The former central regional chairman of the National Democratic Congress revealed this during a discussion on reckless driving and it related road accidents.
Allotey Jacobs condemned the habit of Ghanaian passengers , watching unconcerned when a driver is overspending.

“It is unfortunate, passengers are not united, they are divided; everyone with his own mind but we shouldn’t sit aloof, it will happen to your family member, wife or child if you don’t talk about it,” he stated
He narrated a story of how he once gave a trotro driver who was driving from Cape Coast to Accra a hot slap.
According to Allotey Jacobs, though he was sitting at the back seat, he moved front to slap the driver after he failed to heed to several calls from the passengers to slow down.
“I was sitting at the back but managed to come to the front and gave him a dirty slap. Though some passengers opposed it, it got him to slow down,” he revealed.
