I Broke Up With Afia Pokuaa Before Her Husband Died — Captain Smart
Many have taken to social media to lambast Adom FM journalist, Captain Smart for divorcing his wife Afia Pokuaa after her ex-husband Murphy died.
Afia Pokuaa was married to Murphy in Belgium before she abandoned her husband and kids to marry Captain Smart.
Friends of Murphy have said he died because of the heartbreak of Captain Smart snatching his wife.
But responding to the accusations late Tuesday, Captain Smart whose real name is Blessed Nana Godsbrain Smart, has said he didn’t contribute to the death of Afia Pokuaa’s ex-husband because he divorced her before his tragic death.
“I have been silent for a long time concerning my marriage to Afia Pokuaa. I have been insulted, castigated, lambasted and vilified for the union. It’s up again. But please all of you should wait and hear from me why I ended the marriage before her late husband pass on,” he said on Facebook.

“You may hate me and might have joined the band. It’s because you haven’t heard my story. Wait for my side soon then you can pass your final comment and judge perfectly. I have been advised by large, medium and small personalities but it’s about time my followers know the truth and why I ENDED MY MARRIAGE TO POKUAA BEFORE HER LATE HUSBAND PASSED ON,” he added.
Well, Captain Smart may be lying because here is a photo of Captain Smart and Afia Pokuaa with the former Pentecost chairman in May 2018. Murphy died in 2017. So he was still with Afia even after her husband’s death.
