I Am Not Guilty - Police Officer Twumasi Tells Court As Maadwoa’s Murder Trial Continues

Police Officer Twumasi has pleaded not guilty to murder charges level against him over the k!lling of Maadwoa.

Police Officer Twumasi, the prime suspect in Maadwoa’s murder trial has pleaded not guilty to charges leveled against him.

Today, Tuesday June 20, 2023, he was arraigned before the Asokore Mampong District court and he pleaded not guilty.

He however refused to answer any other question posed to him by the prosecutor.

Police Officer Twumasi said he can’t proceed with any open court examination in the absence of his lawyer.

The case has adjourned to July 13, 2023 and it been moved to the High Court.

Ahmed Twumasi, a police officer in Kumasi was captured on CCTV pulling trigger on Victoria Dapaah popularly known as Maadwoa.

The officer was arrested days after fleeing the scene and he’s currently facing trial in court.
