Hearts to get $150,000 as Afriyie Barnieh nears switch to FC Zurich

Afriyie Barnieh is set to move to FC Zurich at the end of his Hearts of Oaks stint.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is set to move to the Swiss league to join FC Zurich.

Hearts of Oaks will get $150,000 as training and development fee from the Swiss club as compensation.

Afriyie Barnieh’s contract with Hearts of Oaks ends at the end of December 31, 2022.

He will join FC Zurich in Switzerland in a free transfer but his Hearts of Oaks will be compensated with $150,000 which will be shared with his youth clubs as training and development fee.

The player himself is currently with the Black Galaxies as they prepare for the Championship for African Nations, CHAN2023 in Algeria.
