Ghana’s main problem is the man who led the overthrow of Nkrumah – Aplus blast Kotoka

Musician and social commentator Kwame Aplus has labeled General Kotoka as Ghana’s main problem.

The musician says the genesis of Ghana’s problem is General Kotoka, the man who led the coup to topple the government of Kwame Nkrumah.

In 1969, Ghana’s independence hero and first President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was overthrown by a military coup led by Kotoka and Afrifa.

Aplus said he is surprised Ghana’s Airport is named after a guy like Kotoka who betrayed the country to overthrow Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

He added that keeping the name Kotoka on our Airport shows the country doesn’t appreciate Nkrumah enough.
