Ghanaian Woman’s Kenkey Business Thrives in US, Shares Inspiring Story

In an interview with Sammy Kay Media, a Ghanaian woman who resides in the United States told her story.

She claimed that for 36 years, she has made a living by selling kenkey, a traditional Ghanaian delicacy, and she has developed a company that employs a large number of people, including white Americans.

She said that she migrated from Ghana to the US in the 1980s, marking the start of her adventure.

Despite numerous obstacles when she first opened her firm in Ghana, she was able to grow it. She went on to say that she had faced several challenges when visiting the country without a green card.

She claimed that throughout her early years in the US, she had difficulty establishing stability and had to work jobs like home care to support herself. She also disclosed that she was preparing meals for her loved ones and friends.
