George Afriyie recounts how Nyantakyi & Colleagues plotted a coup d’etat against him exactly a year ago

Former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association, George Akwesi Afriyie has recounted how he was sacked as the GFA Vice President last year.

Last year, the then Vice President of the GFA, George Afriyie was ousted from his position by Kwesi Nyantakyi, the then President.

George Afriyie, affectionately called the Chief of Staff of Ghana Football for his strong defends of the Nyantakyi led administration was sacked by his boss in a strange circumstances.

He has taken to Facebook to thank God for seeing him through that difficult stage of his life.

Kwesi Nyantakyi did oust George Afriyie as his Vice when George declared his intention to contest as the President of GFA after the Boss swore he’d step down from office.

The longest serving GFA President wasn’t happy with George Afriyie’s intention to contest for the highest office and surprisingly made a U-turn on his decision to step down when his tenure elapses.

Months after the sack of George, Nyantakyi himself lost his position as the GFA President when he was hit by the famous Number 12 football corruption Exposé.
