General King Lagazee Endorses Fast-Rising Dancehall Artiste Banjui On HITZ FM

Bani Jude Delali popularly known as Banjui in the entertainment business was born on 16th September 1987 in West Africa, Ghana, Tema in the Greater Accra Region. He is the 6th born of a family of 12. He attended Michel Camp Basic for his elementary and junior high school education and then to Mawuli Senior High School in Ho,the Volta regional capital.
He later furthered his education at the University of Proffesional Education, Legon in 2007 for a Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting).

Banju-i’s love for Reggae/Dancehall music was realised at the age of 7 when he will get beaten by his dad for sneaking into his wardrobe to pick up cassettes/records of reggae artists like Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Lucky Dube, Culture, Buju Banton, Shaba Ranks etc Just for his listening pleasures.
This artists have been a great inspiration from day one,he said.

During his final year in SHS, 2006, he won an award as the Best Reggae/Dancehall artist during an awards night held by the school’s entertainment committee.

He won alot of street battles and also was the winner of the Peoples choice Competition among 12 contestants held by YFM. A major radio station in Ghana. This competition was to unearth one reggae/dancehall talent who will open the Mavado Concert, hosted by African dancehall legend Samini at the Accra Sports Stadium in 2011. And he got the mandate and opportunity to give that massive crowd a great show.This was the first and only time the Jamaican Reggae/Dancehall Superstar Mavado, visited the country.

The Ghanaian musician based in Ashaiman, Banjui and Boss of the Ghetto Swag Alliance has been doing music Professionally since 2003. He has dropped hits like Ghetto Swagger, Red Eye, Ye dede , Tulaku, One Step Ahead,Legalize it etc. and has performed on the same stage alongside artists like Mavado, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy,R2Bees and others.
He has also featured on songs with artists like Castro, Keche, Stay Jay, Yaa Pono and Opanka just to mention a few.

In 2015 Banjui’s hit songs Ghetto Swagger & Tulaku were featured in rotation for about 3 months on East African Voice Radio in the U.K. and since then he’s been in rotation on several radio stations such as New Style FM (UK), We Talk Radio (USA), Radio Zero (USA), Wind Em Radio (USA), In The Mixx (USA), and 229 The Block (USA) and several others. He’s also been featured on the cover of an international entertainment magazine, London Le Blanc Magazine.

In September 2016, he released his first album titled “Ghetto Swag.” He had a huge All White Album Release Party with a huge crowd gracing the occasion.

The live band performing artist, Banjui, for the past 5 years has been dedicated to organising free events annually to entertain his core Ashaiman fans and to showcase other great talents.
He embarked on a Nationwide Live Band performing tour dubbed, “Banjui In Ya Area Live Nation Tour” in 2018 and it featured several other artists.

The King of the Ghetto Swag Alliance in an interview said, My mission is to entertain,educate and awaken my people. To encourage everybody especially the ghetto youth to stand tall for that positive goal they believe in and to give people answers to their questions through my music…
