Fire Service officers beat up Journalists, damages studio over fire ‘April Fool’ prank
Fire service personnel in the Bono East Region poured out their anger on journalists of two radio stations in Nkoranza.
The journalists on the said radio stations pulled an April Fool prank on the Ghana National Fire Service in the town.
The two radio stations did announce that there been an accident which has caused a fire outbreak in the areas.

The Fire Service attaches seriousness to the announcement and rushed to the scene only to realize the radio stations pulled an April Fool prank on them.
The group of 10 Fire Service personnel rushed two the two Fm stations, Akyeaa Fm and Dero Fm and pounced on the journalists there.
They did subject them to severe beating, causing a severe injury to sports presenter, Paul Yaw Asamoah alias Obaatan as well as damaging some of their equipments.
