Fancy Gadam Expresses his excitement after KFC opened its first Store in Tamale

American Fast food company Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has finally opened its branch in the Northern Region’s Capital Tamale and Northern musicking  Fancy Gadam can’t keep calm over it.

The opening ceremony took place on 12th December 2018 and it’s the 5th city KFC has reached in Ghana after Accra, Kumasi, Tema and Takoradi as part of its extension drive.

This was reiterated by the Executive Director of the Mohinani Group, parent company of Masco Foods who happens to be the franchise owners of KFC Ghana, Mr. Ashok Mohinani, who said

, “We are proud that jobs have been created with the opening of this restaurant, and we hope to not only create more jobs, but to also enhance the skill levels of our employees to an international brand standard in the hospitality segment.”

The official launch of the store was marked with a colourful ribbon-cutting ceremony broadcasted Live on Zaa Radio 99.3. In attendance was the Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Salifu Saeed, the Northern Regional Chief Imam, Sheik Abdul Salam Ahmed, among other dignitaries who cut the ribbon to officially open the store.

KFC Tamale comes with a Drive Through  located at the Shell Service station on the Hospital Road, opposite the Regional House of Chiefs.

The store opens from 10am to 11pm every day.

Musician Fancy Gadam after hearing this great news took to his social media handles to react.

In a post, he expressed his joy and happiness that KFC is finally in his region.

He wrote that he hopes KFC has brought enough Chicken because he and his family will chop it down well well.

“Looks like @KFCGhana finally moved up north to Tamale. Perfect, I hope they brought enough chicken, because we really go chew am this Christmas, me and my Tamale fam.“, Fancy Gadam wrote on Facebook.
