According to a recent report on Michael Essien’s court case, he did not own the two residences but was on a mortgage.

In a study released by sports On Angel TV, journalist Sadik Adams highlighted that the allegations spreading on social media that Michael Essien is broke are wrong.

Sadick Adams revealed in the news video that “Michael Essien no longer owns the two houses; he gave them to his wife. He’s not broke; he didn’t take out a loan; it’s just a mortgage on the houses.”
