Dethroned Blackstars Captain, Asamoah Gyan to be enstooled Chief in Hohoe

Former Captain of the Ghana Blackstars, Asamoah Mensah Gyan is set to be enstooled as Chief in Hohoe.

This honor is as a result of his exemplary contribution to socio-economic development of the town.

The enstoolment ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 29th May 2019 in Hohoe a day after Asamoah inspects the ultramodern water system he’s constructing for the St. Francis Training College.

The Gbui Traditional Council will hold a Dubar to bestow on Asamoah the Chieftaincy Title as part of the 110 year anniversary of the St. Francis Training College.

The player himself shared the news on his Twitter account;

“my enstoolment by the Gbui Traditional Council and a special “Meet & Greet” in Hohoe. “
