Dancehall King Impregnanted me, Lured Me to Quit my job, and Ghosted Me – Lady Tells Her Oredeal
In a widely shared video, a woman whose identity is suppressed claims to have been used. She expresses disappointment at having been pregnant for a well-known artist known as the Dance Hall King and receiving requests to terminate the child.
The woman stated in the video that she became pregnant in December of last year. According to her account, she was earning 700 Ghana cedis a day before meeting the dance hall king, but after becoming pregnant, he promised her a better job with more money if she terminated the child. None of the promises have come true since the Dance Hall King tricked her into having the abortion since they were all falsehoods.

According to the video, she was requested to abort the pregnancy by the dance hall king, who said he wasn’t ready for another child. She made it quite apparent that she felt taken advantage of, mistreated, and deceived.

Many social media users connected the woman’s account to Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale after the video went viral, although there is no evidence to suggest that she was talking about him.
