Close friend of Nana Fodour arrested by the Police less than 24hrs after he’s was murderɛd
The Ghana Police Service has arrested a close confidant of the deceased Asamponhene less than 24hrs after his murder.
Nana Fodour, a direct relative of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu was stabbed dead in his vehicle on the Ejura-Nkoranza Highway.
The incident happened during the late hours of Sunday 17th August 2019 and but for the intervention of a group of church members returning from a convention the deceased who’ve been burnt beyond recognition as the killers set his car ablaze after killing him.

The Police on receiving information moved to the scene and got the dead body transported to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital’s morgue. 
Though the Police have remained tight lips on the reason for the first arrest, the Ashanti Regional Police Command told Joynews the “man knows a lot about the late chief”.
The Police has scheduled a press briefing on Monday 18th August 2019 to give needed information about the murder case to the media and the public at large.
