Chef Smith Of Ghana Does Not Hold The GWR Title, His Certificate Is Not Original - Guinness World Records

Guinness World Records have finally given a reply to clarification Ghanaian sought over Chef Smith’s Cook-A-Thon claims.

An official clarification from Guinness World Records about Chef Smith’s Cook-A-Thon claims has settled all discussions surrounding his claims.

The Ghanaian Chef made news on Tuesday July 2, 2024 when he organized a press conference to announce that he’s been confirmed by GWR as the record holder for the longest cooking hour.

He showed a certificate which showed the record time of 802 hours, 25 minutes.

Social media users raised doubt about his claims as his certificate looked entirely different from the usual ones GWR.

They duly called out the Ghanaian media for not verifying Chef Smith’s claims before giving publicity.

Checks on GWR website showed that Irish Chef Alan Fisher is still the record holder.

Ghanaians tagged GWR on their social media handles for answers and some sent them emails.

Finally GWR have replied the emails and they say Chef Smith is not the record holder.

 

 

According to GWR, the certificate showed by Chef Smith is not original.
