Boakye Frederick sets out to break the record for the longest individual dance marathon in Ghana

Boakye Frederick, a professional dancer from Ghana, is aiming to break the record for the longest dance marathon performed by a single person.

Entertainer Boakye Frederick wants to hold his continuous dance-a-thon at the Kwahu Obomeng Social Center for seven days, from July 11 to July 18, 2024.

Boakye had already danced for about 13 hours straight at the time of reporting, proving that he could finish his 168 hours.

Fredrick is getting more and more excited as fans swarm the location to cheer on the talented professional dancer.

At 127 hours, from May 29 to June 3, 2023, Srushti Sudhir Jagtap broke the record for the longest dancing marathon by an individual.

At the age of sixteen, Srushi made a record while attending Dayanand College in India and reached this milestone.

The eighth Ghanaian to set off on the GWR adventure in the hopes of having their names recorded in the organization’s book is Boakye Frederick.

The people that tried to set or break Guinness World Records before him were Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak, Afua Asantewaa, Regina Adu Sarfowaa, Du Sam, Seidu Rafiwu, and Atinga Nsobila Joel.
