Atsu & Co Free Two Female Prisoners; One Was Jailed For Stealing 5 Cedis

The Crime Check Foundation headed by Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng with funds from Christian Atsu has helped to set free two female prisoners.

According to Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, the CEO of the Foundation, CCF paid the hefty fines slapped on the two ladies in order to free them.

One of the ladies was jailed because of 5 Ghana cedis. She stole the money to buy food for her kids per her narratives.

When the complainant got to know, she tried to strangle her to which she fought back.

The court slapped her with a fine of One Thousand, Two Hundred Cedis or default jail them.

The other lady broke the windscreen of a car owned by a certain Burger who used her for farm work without remuneration.She was also fine One Thousand Cedis or a default three month jail term.
