Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu Ababio turns 70 today

The overlord of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is celebrating his birthday today.

Born on the 6th of May 1960, the King of the Ashanti Kingdom Kingdom is 70 years today.

Born as Nana Kwaku Duah, he got the stool name Osei Tutu when he was chosen as the King in the year 1999.

Otumfuo is the title of the Ashanti King and it translates to English as All-Powerful or owner of power.
