Akwesi Appiah drops Majeed Warris & Co as he names final 23 Man Squad for AFCON

[ninja_form id=]The coach of the Blackstars of Ghana, James Akwesi Appiah has finally named his official 23 man squad for AFCON 2019.

The gaffer initially named a 29 man squad for the team’s preparation in Dubai.

After over a week of training in the United Arab Emirates, he has finally selected his final 23 man team for the tournament.

Amongst the players dropped, the most surprising one is Majeed Warris.

Asante Kotoko’s Abdul Saffiu together with Hearts Mohammed Hassan were also not selected.

Yaw Yeboah, Ebenezer Ofori and injures Nuhu Musah couldn’t mane the 23 man squad.
