From homeless truck pusher to parliament: The story of Madina MP-elect Francis-Xavier Sosu (Video)

Lawyer Francis-Xavier Sosu is one of the new entrant the Parliament of Ghana will welcome in January 7, 2021.

The young man defeated incumbent Boniface Saddique to win the Madina Parliamentary seat for NDC.

His path to glory has not been easy from a difficult childhood where he slept outside, worked as a child and walked miles to school everyday.

Francis-Xavier Sosu was a homeless boy in Accra New Town where he sold everything sellable at the Mallam-Ata market to survive.

In a video that has surfaced online he could be seen and heard narrating his difficult childhood and how he used to walk for miles to St. John’s Grammar School.

Thankfully lucked shined on him and got adopted into an orphanage where he got sponsored in higher education to become a Human Right Lawyer.

Now lawyer he’s been using his time, money and knowledge to help the poor and needy.
