Rawlings breaks silence on Military presence in Volta Region
Former President of Ghana Jerry John Rawlings has broken his silence on the ongoing boarder patrol brouhaha in Ghana.
The deployment of the Military personnel to the border towns in Ghana has sparked controversy with accusations that the ruling party want to intimidate residents of the opposition strongholds ahead of the voter registration exercise.
The former President Jerry John Rawlings has called on the government not to worsen the plight of residents of the border towns as they are already in difficulties because of COVID-19 restrictions.

He then called for fairness in the forthcoming voter registration exercise and the December 2020 elections.
