WWE Champion Kofi Kingston set to feature in Netflix movie

Reigning WWE World Champion Kofi Sarkodie-Mensah, popularly known as ‘Kofi Kingston’ is set to feature in an upcoming movie which is a collaboration between WWE Studios and Netflix.which is a collaboration between WWE Studios and Netflix.

Netflix in an announcement on Wednesday stated that it is teaming up with WWE Studios for a new live-action family film dubbed ‘The Main Event’.

The movie department of WWE Studios is partnering with Netflix to shoot the movie which is billed to be made available in 2020.

Kofi Kingston who was recently in Ghana has been wrestling for the past 11 years and he became the second African American (following Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson).
