Coach Akwesi Appiah has chosen Andre Dede Ayew as Captain of Ghana Blackstars

The coach of Blackstars of Ghana has chosen Andre Dede Ayew as the captain of the team according to report.

The decision to strip Asamoah Gyan off the captaincy was communicated to him a week ago.

The replacement for Asamoah is his Andre Dede Ayew, who until this decision was serving as an assistant to Gyan.

The African Cup of Nations is kicks off in Egypt next month and Dede Ayew is expected to lead the Blackstars.

In must be remembered that, in 2009, Dede Ayew captained the Ghana’s U-20 team to win the FIFA World Youth Championship in Egypt.
