Gyan retired from Blackstars because coach told him CAPTAINCY will be taken from him – Sports Obama reveals
Blackstars captain, Asamoah Gyan has bowed out of international football.
The player announced his retirement from the Ghana Blackstars few minutes ago.
In an official Press Release, Anamoah Gyan said he can’t not pretend he is happy about things going on but he didn’t state the main reason behind his retirement decision.

Sports Journalist, Saddick Adams, affectionately called Sports Obama has hinted on what made Asamoah took the retirement decision few weeks to a major tournament.
According to the Atinka Fm sports journalist, Asamoah retired from the Blackstars because the coach, Akwesi Appiah informed him of his decision to strip him off his captaincy.
The Blackstars Captaincy issue isn’t a new thing as the current coach himself was stripped off the captaincy for Abedi Pele when the team was preparing for the 1992 African Cup of Nations held in Senegal.
