BREAKING!! Asamoah Gyan announces RETIREMENT from Ghana Blackstars

The captain of the senior national team of Ghana, Asamoah Mensah Gyan has announced his retirement from the Blackstars.

The striker has been playing for Ghana Blacks since making his debut in 2003 against Seirra Leone at the Accra Sports Stadium.

After over a decade of service to the nation, the striker has finally announced his retirement from International football.

The news comes as a shock as many people were expecting him to lead Ghana Blackstars to the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

The former Liberty Professionals player communicated his retirement decision with an official press release.
